Location, Location, Location 

Ohio Living Park Vista has been a fixture of Youngstown’s north side for more than 70 years. We are blessed to be surrounded by the area’s foremost cultural institutions, and make the most of our location by providing our residents and guests with enriching opportunities and events.

For example, our partnership with Youngstown State University (YSU) includes a student/resident collaboration creating books called LifeBios. Some of the featured tales have included residents’ life stories,
the volunteerism of YSU’s softball team at various Halloween events, performances by students from YSU’s Dana School of Music, Project VIBE and more.

Additionally, the Mahoning Valley Lifelong Learning Institute (MVLLI) is a beacon of educational opportunities for those age 50+. With lectures on history, religion, art, wellness, STEM and more, the MVLLI offers seniors a chance to continue learning as they age. We believe that you’re never too old to learn, and are proud to offer this resource to our neighbors in the Valley and beyond. 

Another opportunity is our Cultural Mile Club, which offers a monthly excursion to a local venue or event, providing our residents with a new, fun experience. Since June, the group has attended a Cirque du Soleil show at the Covelli Centre, the Summer Festival of the Arts at YSU, and a three-part outing that included stops at The Youngstown Flea, a farmers market and lunch at Cultivate.
