The Fairmount Health Center and Florence and Francis M. Osborne Community Plaza opened at Breckenridge Village.

Two major projects were completed at Breckenridge Village in 1982. The Fairmount Health Center and the Osborne Community Plaza serve the needs of the community in distinct but complimentary ways, helping residents to live vibrant and engaged lives.1982 - BV Fairmount and Osborne Opened

When it opened, the Fairmount Health Center was a 100-bed full-service health facility providing skilled and intermediate nursing care to Breckenridge residents. It was named for the Fairmount Presbyterian Church in Cleveland Heights, whose members raised $1 million toward its construction.

The Florence and Francis M. Osborne, Jr. Community Plaza is a one-story multipurpose building of 10,000 square feet, which quickly became central to the community’s thriving culture. The Plaza was instantly seen as the hub for transportation, elective programs, musical productions, lectures, classes, social events and more.
