The groundbreaking ceremony for the Clapp Children’s Center a childcare facility adjacent to the Nason Center, took place on November 3, 1997. The dedication was celebrated in the summer of 1998. The Clapp Family Endowment offered support for Breckenridge Village employees through a sliding fee scale for services provided by the childcare program at Clapp Children’s Center.
