As Cape May was thriving as a satellite of Mount Pleasant, Lake Vista of Cortland was developed under a similar relationship with Park Vista.

            The new campus was dedicated with 22 acres in 1998. The 14 original residents lived in customized single-story villas, with access to a clubhouse with a great room, kitchen, exercise room, wrap-around deck and craft area. Plans were also in place to add assisted living and apartments, as allowed by the community’s needs.
