The Cambridge apartments opened at Cape May. 2002 - Cape May Cambridge Apartments Opened

When the Cambridge Apartments at Cape May opened, they offered 37 independent living apartments in five different floor plans, as well as a dining room, beauty salon and barbershop, library, community center and exercise room. Most apartments in the three-story building featured patios or balconies with scenic views of the campus.

The Cambridge also offered 24 assisted living apartments and the Bridgewater Memory Care program, serving residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-related disorders.

The ribbon was cut September 5, 2002, by Dr. Robert Byler and his wife Eunice – who were also the first residents of the Cambridge Apartments.
