This interactive session will provide an overview of Parkinson’s disease, including early signs and symptoms, current treatment options, and how physical therapy can help maintain mobility, balance, and independence. Whether you’re living with Parkinson’s or supporting someone who is, you’ll learn practical strategies and resources for managing the disease. Dr. Annie Tapp, PT, DPT, PhD, NCS, is a physical therapist and Assistant Professor at Youngstown State University who specializes in helping people with Parkinson’s disease and other neurologic conditions live fuller, more active lives. As a board-certified neurologic specialist with more than a decade of clinical experience, her current work focuses on bringing research-backed therapies directly to the people who need them to improve independence and quality of life. Lunch will be provided.
