What is Coffee Time? As an active community, we value lifelong learning.  Coffee Time is a free event that provides an opportunity to learn something new through an engaging presentation. Socialize while enjoying fresh-baked breakfast treats at 10 a.m. followed by a scheduled speaker at 10:30 a.m.

Recycle Right in 2025

There is an art to recycling.  In Franklin County today 76% of the materials sent to the landfill does not belong there. Of that 76% about 25% is recyclable, 27% is compostable, and 24% of materials could have been diverted to other waste streams or reuse outlets.  

Kim Chapman with SWACO will educate us about recycling.  Giving us an insightful look at the waste stream in Franklin County.  Learn how to reduce the waste you send to the landfill by recycling right.  Start 2025 off with renewing your commitment to be a steward of our beautiful earth.
