Access to reliable, trustworthy and high-quality information has never been more
important. Dozens upon dozens of local publications have shuttered in the last twenty
years. But The Ohio Newsroom is a new collaborative aimed at addressing so-called “news
deserts” – places where there is scant local journalism on the ground. Managing Editor
Clare Roth will join us to talk about how her team takes on this challenge, where news is
going next, and what we can do to stay engaged with our local, and statewide, community.
